It is a quick read, giving some background for the girl's intent but drops you Cold at the end when she meets the man who is supposedly her father.
This fast read left me wanting more. I love how well developed the characters and world were for such a short story.
Really liked it. Aren't many short stories that can give background into so many dynamic characters and a unique, darkly magical setting so quickly. Liked the main character. Very curious about her mom.
My only criticism is I wish there were more.
